In close collaboration with members of the research and advocacy community, the United States Government (USG) convened an open, virtual gathering to discuss mpox research on March 31, 2023. To maximize time for discussion during the gathering, pre-recorded presentations were posted as mandatory pre-meeting viewing. These brief videos presented the current landscape of USG supported mpox research. Subsequent discussion focused on community input on current efforts and the way forward given the trajectory of this outbreak.
