There are just nineteen days until National Asian & Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day 2018. Saturday May 19th is the 14th annual observance.
Banyan Tree Project–leads this day. To commemorate the day, communities host events designed to raise HIV awareness, promote testing and decrease stigmatizing behaviors.
We'll be updating our awareness day page with federal and community resources related to this observance. If you need ideas on getting involved, you can also check out the new HIV.gov guide to planning activities for the HIV awareness days and sign up for an appointment for social media help from our Virtual Office Hours technical assistance team.
