The Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) will hold its 65th full Council meeting in Miami, Florida, on October 21-22, 2019. Miami-Dade County is one of the 57 jurisdictions prioritized in Phase I of Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE).

Over the course of the two days, the Council will:

  • Present updates on:
    • HIV in the Latinx community
    • The EHE initiative in Florida and Puerto Rico and how EHE is addressing the unique needs of the seven Florida counties and San Juan, Puerto Rico, prioritized in Phase I
  • Hold a federal panel discussion of efforts and mechanisms to ensure continued community engagement in EHE
  • Share a presentation on performance indicators for tracking EHE progress

The Council will also hear public comments during the meeting.

The meeting convenes on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM (ET) and Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (ET). The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Miami Marriott Biscayne BayExit Disclaimer. If you wish to attend, you can register on site, but please note that space is limited.
