Note: Title X family planning service sites are key partners in ending the HIV epidemic in the U.S., providing many individuals with HIV and STI testing and prevention services.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Population Affairs (OPA), within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), is accepting applications for the Family Planning Telehealth Infrastructure Enhancement and Expansion Grants (PA-FPH-22-002) funding opportunity to enhance and expand the telehealth infrastructure and capacity of Title X family planning services projects. For more than 50 years, Title X family planning sites have played a critical role in ensuring access to a broad range of family planning and related preventive health services for millions of low-income or uninsured individuals and others.

Under this initiative, OPA intends to provide one-time funds appropriated under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) (Public Law No. 117-2) to Title X grantees specifically to enhance and expand the telehealth infrastructure and capacity of their service delivery networks. OPA intends to make available an estimated $35,000,000 and anticipates funding an estimated 60 awards ranging from $50,000 to $700,000 for a period of one (1) year.

This opportunity is limited to applicants who are submitting applications to PA-FPH-22-001 “Title X Family Planning Services Grants.” Only recipients of awards under PA-FPH-22-001 will be eligible to receive an award under this opportunity. Any public or private nonprofit entity located in a State (as defined in 42 C.F.R. § 59.2) is eligible to apply to PA-FPH-22-001. Submitting an application under PA-FPH-22-002 will have no effect on the merit review of an application under PA-FPH-22-001.

The NOFO and Technical Assistance materials are available on Grants.gov (see "Related Documents" tab).

Application Due Date: Thursday, February 3, 2022.
