Celebrity mothers encourage young people to #GetCovered

Last week, we blogged about Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys work related to women and HIV/AIDS. Today, we encourage you to watch Alicia’s mother, Terria Joseph, talk about what having health coverage for her child means to her. She speaks about the benefits of the Affordable Care Act along with other celebrity mothers.

Open enrollment on the Marketplace ends on Monday, March 31, 2014.

There are four ways to apply for coverage:

  1. Online: HealthCare.gov Also in Spanish: CuidadoDeSalud.gov
  2. By Phone: 24/7 Customer Call Center: 1-800-318-2596 (toll-free) 1-8TTY: 1-855-889-4325 (toll-free)
  3. In Person: Find a trained counselor at LocalHelp.HealthCare.gov
  4. By Mail: Download the application form and instructions. Use the Marketplace Application Checklist to help individuals gather what they need to apply for coverage.
