HIV.gov Digital Resources
HIV.gov is America’s federal hub for HIV/AIDS information and resources. Formerly AIDS.gov, HIV.gov was created to increase knowledge about HIV; improve access to HIV prevention, testing, and care; and provide timely information on HIV programs and resources from across the U.S. government. In addition to providing critical HIV information, HIV.gov is home to several digital tools that support the goal of ending the HIV epidemic in the United States.
HIV Services Locator
The HIV Services Locator is an easy-to-use location-based search tool. Users can search for HIV testing, care, and other HIV-related services near them. HIV.gov provides both a Locator widget and an API to allow anyone to embed the Locator on their own website or create custom solutions using available data.
The Locator allows users to search for HIV and STI testing services, housing assistance, health centers, and other services using a zip code or city and state.

AHEAD
America’s HIV Epidemic Analysis Dashboard (AHEAD) is an interactive data visualization tool that tracks progress toward Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. (EHE) and helps inform local HIV-related planning and monitoring. AHEAD provides data on the six EHE indicators for EHE priority jurisdictions as well as all states and the nation. To further inform HIV response, AHEAD also provides data on social determinants of health that affect HIV risk and outcomes.
AHEAD allows users to filter data, analyze trends, and create custom data visualizations. Data can be filtered by location and by demographic characteristics, such as age, race/ethnicity, sex, and transmission category. Data from AHEAD can inform community HIV-related planning and help users evaluate local-, state-, and national-level progress toward EHE goals.
