Today is National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day (NHAAD). Michelle Scavnicky of The AIDS Institute and her colleagues are the leaders in planning for this observance. We asked Michelle about how she sees digital tools supporting this year’s observance. She told us:

Today, digital tools, including social media, enable local organizers to showcase and promote NHAAD and the tremendous success we have seen in the treatment of HIV in older adults. We have technology now that we didn't have even 10 years ago. We want the NHAAD tools to serve as a reminder that people over 50 are not immune to HIV infection and through appropriate care and treatment can age gracefully while living with HIV.”

Here are a few digital tools for your communication about #HIVExit Disclaimer and #agingExit Disclaimer.Hashtag: To catch up on the conversation, search #NHAAD Exit Disclaimer.
