On October 27, 2022, federal HIV leaders released a call to action to the HIV community to continue their aggressive and comprehensive approach to the syndemic of monkeypox, HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), homelessness, and mental health. This approach centers on vaccine equity and goes beyond traditional disease-specific healthcare delivery to also address associated social determinants of health.
