Register Now - Live with Leadership: People, Place, Policy, & Science Matter
On Wednesday, December 8th, HIV.gov is holding a Live with Leadership conversation on the need to take a comprehensive approach that acknowledges the role syndemics such as viral hepatitis, STIs, mental health, and substance use play in the HIV epidemic in the United States. The conversation will feature:
- Dr. Jonathan Mermin, Director of the National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
- Dr. Laura Cheever, Associate Administrator for the HIV/AIDS Bureau at the Health Resources and Services Administration.
The session will be held from 3:30–4:00 p.m. (ET).
The Live with Leadership conversations provide communities opportunities to hear directly from key HHS and HIV community leaders about new and ongoing work to further the goals of the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative. Conversations in this series are approximately 30 minutes in length and a great way to hear about EHE and key findings from HIV conferences.
