On Wednesday, December 8th, HIV.gov is holding a Live with Leadership conversation on the need to take a comprehensive approach that acknowledges the role syndemics such as viral hepatitis, STIs, mental health, and substance use play in the HIV epidemic in the United States. The conversation will feature:

• Dr. Jonathan Mermin, Director of the National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
• Dr. Laura Cheever, Associate Administrator for the HIV/AIDS Bureau at the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Joining as the moderator for the session is Guillermo Chacón, President of the Latino Commission on AIDSExit Disclaimer, and a new member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA).

The session will be held from 3:30–4:00 p.m. (ET).
