The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has several new monkeypox resources available:

CDC Monkeypox 101 Webinar

CDC will host an Emergency Partners Information Connection (EPIC) Monkeypox 101 webinar on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. ET to 3:00 p.m. ET.

Participants will learn about the signs and symptoms of monkeypox, how it spreads, understanding your risk, and how to prevent and treat monkeypox. The webinar will also cover the trends for the current outbreak in the United States, how CDC is responding to and working toward reducing stigma surrounding monkeypox, and how you can help.

This webinar will feature Neal Carnes, PhD, LGBTQ+ Equity Advisor for CDC’s Monkeypox Response, and Lieutenant Commander Caroline Schrodt, MD, MSPH, Clinical Consultations Lead for CDC’s Monkeypox Response. Closed captioning and live ASL and Spanish interpretation will be available.
