ALERT! HIV and Aging Challenges Deadlines Extended!

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP) and the HHS Administration for Community Living (ACL) have partnered on two national prize competitions ($500,000 each) that focus on innovative efforts that help improve health outcomes for people aging with HIV and long-term survivors, particularly among racial and ethnic minority and LGBTQ+ populations, in either rural or urban areas. The challenges are:
- “Innovations for Needs of People Aging with HIV/Long-term Survivors in Urban Communities” Challenge and
- “$500,000 Rural HIV and Aging Challenge”
The deadline for Phase 1 of each challenge has been extended and HHS is now accepting applications by Tuesday, February 14, 2023 (5:00 PM ET). For more information on these challenges, please refer to the webinar posted on Challenge.GovExit Disclaimer.
