To discuss news about the global response to HIV coming out of the 22nd International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2018) today, we spoke with Hank Tomlinson, PhD, Director of CDC's Division of Global HIV & TB (DGHT). The division he oversees supports global TB and HIV treatment, care and prevention programs in 45 countries. CDC/DGHT is one of the implementing partners for PEPFAR.
