Live with Leadership Webinar - May 10, 2021, 1 PM

On Monday, May 10th the Office of Infectious Disease and HIV/AIDS Policy (OIDP) is holding a Live with Leadership conversation about how NIH-supported research can help us end HIV in the United States. Joining Harold Phillips, Chief Operating Officer for EHE and Senior HIV Advisor at OIDP, for the conversation will be:

  • Dr. Carl Dieffenbach, Director of the Division of AIDS at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, who will discuss NIH’s portfolio of EHE implementation science research projects.
  • Dr. Nora Volkow, Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse, who will discuss NIDA’s HIV-related research.

The session will be held from 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. (ET).

The Live with Leadership conversations provide community opportunities to hear directly from key HHS and HIV community leaders about new and ongoing work to further the goals of the Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) initiative. Conversations in this series are approximately 20 minutes in length and a great way to hear about EHE and key findings from HIV conferences.
