Today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) unveiled the HHS Action Plan to Reduce Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities (PDF 2MB). This document will serve as a road map for eliminating health and health care disparities for racial, ethnic and other underserved communities. Addressing health disparities is a priority for the HIV community, and a key goal of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy, mentioned on page 8 of the HHS Plan.
