The virtual 2022 National Ryan White Conference on HIV Care & Treatment (2022 NRWC) starts tomorrow! The 2022 NRWC will take place from August 23-26. The theme is The Time Is Now: Harnessing the Power of Innovation, Health Equity, and Community to End the HIV Epidemic, which reflects the urgency for ending the HIV epidemic in the U.S. while also highlighting the tools and resources we need to accomplish this goal. HRSA’s Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) understands we must continue to promote health equity to reduce HIV-related health disparities; be innovative in how we deliver HIV care and treatment, support people with HIV; and ensure people with HIV and their communities are involved in the planning, development, and implementation of HIV care and treatment strategies.

Participating in the 2022 NRWC

Members of the RWHAP community, including recipients, subrecipients, stakeholders, federal employees, and people with lived experience, will come together virtually this week to learn program and policy updates, share innovative models of care, and provide training and technical assistance. By now, all 2022 NRWC participants should have received an email from mobilesolutions@chime.live with a login, password, and link to the conference platform. The 2022 NRWC will feature four plenary sessions, more than 160 workshops, Tuesday’s business day sessions, a virtual exhibit hall, listening sessions, and nearly 100 posters sessions. Learn about all the conference has to offer in the Program Book.

The 2022 NRWC online platform has a number of options to help participants navigate and connect. Search for sessions using varied terms. Use the chat function for a one-on-one conversation with a colleague or a group. Share what sessions you’re excited about attending on the social feed. On August 18, HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau recognized the 32nd anniversary of the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act – the legislation that created the RWHAP. Help us celebrate by downloading the “I CARE Because…” flyer, print it out, fill it in, and post a picture of yourself with the flyer to our virtual 2022 NRWC Photo Gallery.
