1, 2, 3, 4: Digital Communication for National Latino AIDS Awareness Day
National Latino AIDS Awareness Day (NLAAD) is just around the corner (October 15). So we’re assessing some tools and resources that inform and support our digital efforts to address the disproportionate impact of HIV on Latinos/Latinas.
- The National HIV/AIDS Strategy: Updated to 2020: In order to end the HIV epidemic in the U.S., this updated road map focuses our national response on the right people, right places, and right practices . Responding to “right people” means focusing on the particular HIV prevention, care, and treatment needs of key populations, including Latino men and women.
- The U.S. Digital Government Strategy: In 2012, President Obama directed Federal agencies to build a 21st century government that delivers better services to the American people.
In response, we’re using digital tools and technologies to provide information about HIV to as many people as possible--and to leverage the momentum from the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and the Digital Strategy to improve our reach in Latino communities for NLAAD. We hope you will do the same!
